It doesn’t matter if you’re working or retired- Monday is still a mess. It’s an inconvenient day in my world. No matter who we are or where we are we’re still recuperating from the weekend, and Mondays require too much from us – or at least it does for me.
Bruce tried to climb a tree to catch a squirrel. It was a pathetic attempt to show who’s the best at climbing. To say the least he made a complete idiot out of himself and I laughed until I cried. That big old dog couldn’t make it off the ground.
I hope all of you mothers and anyone else who has raised a child had a wonderful Mother’s Day. My son called me twice. My daughter had us over for supper – the idea that I didn’t have to cook was gift enough. First of all she is an excellent cook, and I barely skim by. I have no intention of becoming a good cook before I die. It’s not on my bucket list.
I’m working on a new dog bed and a small trunk. I can never work on one thing at a time! I am going to show you pictures of an adorable clock we found. I cleaned it up, spot painted and wish I had little kids. It’s whimsical and will fit in any child’s bedroom. I fell in love with it.
If you find something you like in my varied crafts, just let me know. We can discuss price, and I can deliver to the cities of Killeen, Copperas Cove and Belton. If you would like anything customized, I can do that too.
Have a wonderful evening. Thanks so much for visiting!
